Engine:

VR6 swapp from a 93 corrado, machined and rebuilt by Tomas Sportstuning, with AWE head gasket which increased compression from 10:1 to 10.5:1.
Heavier springs installed in preparation for bigger cams.
Turn 2 motor mounts, and Velocity lightened/balanced flywheel.
Mocal oil cooler installed, and original oil cooler sandwich plate removed.
Garrett sports chip.
TT 2.5” stainless steel exhaust, with only one resonator and a Borla muffler.

Suspension/wheels, etc.:

H&R coilovers.
Standard VR6 Corrado brakes, with Ferrodo street pads, and Velocity SS brake lines.
Eibach aluminum front upper stress bar.
5-lug full conversion
Current wheels are ABT A22’s 16x7.5 with Yokohama Sdrive 195/40/16

Exterior:

Front “banana” markers deleted, and euro side markers added.
Front turn indicators are smoked.
Front GTI grille
Rear smoked Hella taillights.
G60 wider fender flares.

Interior-

Mk2 Jetta Recaro interior.
AWE short shift kit,
VW Motorsport knob and leather boot.

I drove a built Mk2 GTi VR swap. Probably one of the most fun cars I've ever driven. Not that I've driven many but it was awesome. looks so nice!

The ix is trashed, unrealistic repairs are needed, so this is the new DD. Still would like to dyno her again, after having the Garret chip installed. Might go 262 cams pretty soon here, and from there go 3inch exhaust vs 2.5inch. we'll see.
