My car was undoubtedly the biggest pile there and I still made the 6 hour drive. I learned a long time ago, seeing some great builds in person is far better than taking home a $20 plastic trophy.
Highlights: My wife telling off the dude who blared his stereo all day, meeting some great folks (Ubernasty, FunfGan, White325is, and a few more who's usernames I don't recall), laughing at the 427 Guidos who showed up in the exact same car (E46 M3, mostly from NY and NJ), seeing a ton of fantastic cars.
Lowlights: 1 food vendor for nearly 3,500 people; the dude who thinks we give a shit about his stereo (white cab with a hardtop and outside stereo setup, I hope you get the clap); the show only lasting from 10-3; vendors with nothing for sale; not getting to see everything before the more bored and hungry people left early.
I'm going to wait until next year to see if they can pull it off better. I got to see my folks which doesn't happen too often (Burgundy E36 on Brock B12s next to my early model with Biturbo wheels). Make sure you make reservations for Prost German Restaurant, it was epic and definitely made the trip worthwhile.
By the way, I saw the guy with the slammed red 318is on weaves there. Didn't want to interrupt dinner with your girl but I really liked your car...
Anyway, I'll see you guys next year. Glad to meet those I did.Comment

Here's mine, aside from the incident outside the hotel Friday night, we had a great time. I tried to take pictures of every e30 there but the camera died about two hours in.

Nice to meet and see everyone. My first showing of my cars. Thanx for all the love and hate left all over my blackboard hood had to wash it off before cruising the rest of the night, lucky I live 20 min away from there. Let my dad drive my girls ix hoping he catches the bug he needs a e30 vert for himself. A lot of fun but as discussed poor planning and organization. Hope to see all against soon at the next mid Atlantic meet.Comment

24 year old kid, drunk, no cops. I walked away and kept walking (the whole 40 feet back to the hotel) after he jumped out and said "let's get a beer" right after crashing. I'd only been in the car 3 minutes when he crashed it and had no idea he was that drunk. I am still shaking my head about it and absolutely I am glad no one else got hurt, the airbag imprint on my leg was enough. The guy at the gate said when he got there at 6:30 the driver was still there, drinking, waiting on the tow truck. I sent him a message on facebook but he didn't mention the car, just said he was OK.Comment
