Although... I did just tear down my E30 and move to an E24. But if I had been able to find an E30 in good shape I totally would have stayed that route. In the NE I have yet to find an affordable E30 without cancer of some kind.

I'd keep your car. Since your car is black I'd even keep the chrome trim.

You might not be able to beat an M3, but most X25s and X28s (where X=3 or 5, regardless of year) would be hard pressed to pass you and wouldn't be able to shake you in the twisties.

Your bottle caps are kinda retro cool... in a day where everyone is going aftermarket.

like the man said -- if u can afford it -- go get a newer car -- i would go 528.. it all depends on if u are interested in:
1. spirited driving
2. jus wanting a sweet ride that can get out of its own way --

pick E30 for 1
u can also E30 pick for #2.. cheaper & faster

but sometimes a newer car is sweet ..

how 'bout u spend some money on some gorgeous rims so u fall in luv with your car again?

Get a 540/6, and supercharge it. That will probaly make you forget about an E30. Those things will do close to 150 in 4th :nice:
