well I've been a stranger on here but the car is still in my garage...mostly neglected.

Not much has changed since my last post, other than i got engaged and am planning a wedding...did i mention that?... and i rarely drive it now as the blow by issue is for real. It still runs and drives and is a blast but the motor needs to come out and be gone once over. I have a spare m52 short block laying around, but haven't had the time, space or energy to work on it.

Just for interest.... here is the other project that I've been spending most of my time and money on but is also going nowhere fast since the wedding planning began.....and surely isnt going in this car.

officially 4 sale on the forum only... craigslist jerks didn't appreciate this. I had a bunch of craigslist kids offering swapped Honda's for trade, and insulting low balls and just hated on the rough exterior. It needs 2-3g in body work. I'm aware and being upfront, and its why I'm not asking 10K+.

$6500 OBO --- Come for a test ride, and make me a reasonable offer.

car is back up for sale again after putting a bunch of work and time into it this summer. Christmas fund time.. The craigslist add is based on my old for sale add here on r3v and i tried to remove and update things that have changed since i last sold it and bought it back.

This car will be up for sale in the next two-three weeks to fund my LLC. Keep an eye out for the 4Sale add. I will post the link from R3V here as well and wont list it anywhere else for the first 2 weeks once it goes up. I have done a bunch of work over the winter including interior, suspension, and a rebuilt head, custom cams, and an MLS with ARP just because I had them laying around. Even more power than before.

Save your tax refunds and paychecks boys and girls.

well here are some of the pics of updated work. weld rings are on and AKG subframe plates are on the way and will be welded in this weekend. Parts are heading for powdercoating next week early and I'm getting excited for a completely fresh front end. new hub assemblies are on order and this project is dragging on but should be done right when it is.

Only two questions now are whether this front end is gonna be to nice for the body and........ to BBK or not to BBK ...that is the question?

I have good Girlings to powdercoat/rebuild and use but just don't know if i should save for a couple weeks and do a BBK since everything else is done right.

the daily and the toy....life is good

    the donor front end

    the 'problem' I'm resolving

    new toys

    work...

and then there was TIG.....man i love welding stuff

will post more parts pics and details of my pretty welds for fun tomorrow, picked up all the Lemfoerder stuff today.

It looks like Club Loose event is out for Sept. 19th, but this will be ready for at least one event this season........then off to the body shop this winter.

so the car wasn't ready for freedom moves this past weekend, but the new KONIs have arrived for the front, a great guy from the Bronx came out and dropped off a full subframe with strut housings for me to refurbish that I have torn down and Dustin at GC helped me out and is sending me the weld plates and new o rings before this weekend so i can do the coilover setup the right way after having it with the adjuster sleeve in stock spring perches since i bought the car the first time.

I'm also heading out this Friday to meet another r3v'er to get new control arms, sway links, bushings etc and hopefully will have it all settled for the Sept. 19th club loose event. A lot will depend on whether i decide to spend the time and money to get stuff powder coated before re-install or just good ol' rattle can.
