the calipers are made by willwood... but the adaptor brackets were designed by RPI, a canadian company, as were the rotor hats (two piece rotor) these brakes mean buisness.
i would have to say i am pretty happy with them.
ordered a couple parts for the 17th... global import car show!!!!
you going to register your car james (m42)? hell or the crivellone
its $45 and you get two passes.... or the passes are $20 each
Do you track or autox at all? Or did you get the brakes for looks? (not dissing, I am probably going to get a BBK and I don't autox enough to truly justify it).
The car looks great in the third pic, but the tiny tires and wheels outside the fenders make it look funny to me in the first pic.
brakes retail for $900 i got them for $600....
i did get them solely for asthetics... i have never experienced brake fade, but this was just to great a deal to pass up... i had too much money and had to buy something. i know everyone else has felt the same way
(not dissing, I am probably going to get a BBK and I don't autox enough to truly justify it).
why? not like BBK would help much and would bump you in classes!
15.6 BRAKES
Vehicles may only exceed the allowances of 13.6 as specified herein.
A. Any brake line.....may be used. ......
Backing plates and dirt shields may be modified or removed.
B. Cross-drilled and/or slotted brake rotors may be used, provided the
replacement rotors have the same dimensions as standard rotors
.....
you'd be better off with great pads and stock rotors.
And BBK for cosmetics? No gripe cuz you're at least honest about it. It's your money bro. Looks great.
why not just do a 5 lug conversion? bigger breaks, bigger wheels, bigger tires for about the same price you spent on your bbk, but im not one to talk, since im only rebuilding my breaks from the ground up next week for a 4 lug since i just bought new wheels a couple months ago and dont want to let them go just yet, but i know i will still stop just the same as if i would have done a bbk or 5 lug conversion. car looks good by the way!

no where near the bling factor with the 5-lug, and it would have cost more to switch to 5-lug.... plus i spent a total of 30 maybe 40 min installing/bleeding, and the kit was delivered to my house the same day.... no messing around on the internet looking for the right parts.
thank you for all the coments, and criticism..... but who is coming to global import car show to see my car?
