    E34: Drippin' wet

I just bought the Mr. Clean autodry, so I figured after the first use I'd snap a few shots. Tell me what you think, I'm no professional but I think I did a decent job. Any suggestions on mods? Keep in mind once I get tires for them (I'll probably wait until after winter), there will be some OEM M-Parallels sitting underneath.

I'm thinking of going for an exhaust next, as my heat-shield is rotting a bit and makes the stock sound like shit. Any one have suggestions for a decently priced quality cat-back system?

Thanks for checkin' out my ride,
    -JK

P.S.: The tripod I used is for an old school video camera, therefore rather than screwing in I just had to rest it on top and attempt to keep it sturdy.

looks nice, but the 'autodry' shit is a joke. have you checked the price of the filter and soap?

Yes, but the number of times you can use it before replacing the filter varies. I live in a very small town, and I have very clean well-water. My friend up the road got one, and has washed his car about 12 times with the same filter, and it has yet to show water spots.

Yeah, it does, I waxed the e30 then used the Auto-Dry shit the next time I washed and the panels felt horrible.

Any particular reason why you post on an E30 forum?

Sorry, I would assume E30 owners would have the open-mindedness to accept other clean older BMW's as well.

I'm not saying I don't like E34's, but wouldn't you find more acceptence and pertanent knowledge on an E34 forum?

I can dig it. Still sometimes amazes me how well factory rims go with certain BMWs.
M Parallels will go nicely with your car aswell.

I used the Autodry also, We have well water and no matter what I got water spots, I haven't noticed it stripping the wax off but who knows.

just wondering why ya'll can't just spend the money on good soap like zymol and a old fashioned chamios. IMO all the "easy on/ off" stuff is crap...mostly sold entice consumerism.
