Show was yesterday, some of the attendees are out autoX'ing today down here in San Diego with the local BMW CCA chapter. So yes, time to start packing....I'll take earthquakes over snow ANY day! :P

Thanks for the pics all! I had VERY limited time at the show and didn't even get to leave the e21 area until I was rolling out. Rolled up there in the turbo '83 instead of bringing the M3, trying to help represent the Legion. We actually had 30 cars come out, from what I've been told. Nothing compared to the numbers of the e30 crowd of course, but pretty damn good for cars that are usually stripped bare for parts for the '02s. :D

      Edit:
Wow, looks like I REALLY need to update my sig now that the turbo car looks a lot different. I think that shot is from like '05 or something.
SOMEBODY messed with my sig so now you get this one:

Doug, it was so cool to see you there! I think you're the first E30 guy I ever met. What was it, 2002 or something?

Yeah, this was the best SoCal Vintage I've been to. It's grown 3x since the last one I went to. It's like Bimmerfest for old school BMW's. A bunch of eye candy everywhere from F20C engined 2002's to bone stock 86 325, euro spec to US spec. There was also a 2002 turbo, handful of isetta's, Glas car, Hartge 323i, Alpina's everywhere. We just needed a Z1 and some 8 series. Everything else was well represented.
"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Thanks for the clarification. I was actually hoping to get a chance to talk with Rob.

Think reelizmpro sums it up nicely ... "It's like Bimmerfest for old school BMW's." Except without the obnoxiousness music and 'come at me bro' drama.
