It originally was a 6pt for an 81 camero but the main hoop was a little too wide so I had a local nascar style speed shop bend a new one to the specs I wanted. I welded that in and used rest of the bars from the camero cage placing them where and how I wanted.

So yea I got the cage and then fabbed all the floor plates, radius'ed all the bar ends, welded, test fitted, painted and designed the rest of the bars to the cage myself. It was nowhere near and direct fit and I probably have over 25hr into it with more to come.

Not sure if this all counts as building it now that you mention it but I did put a lot of work into it. Thanks.

I've been thinking about getting a CB and I remembered this car. What radio/antenna combo did you use? I also just love those seats.
