E30's with car bras

I have one for my E36 and will get one for the E30 after the front end gets painted. I put them on for road trips and take them off after I get to my location.

They look alright on some cars. Some can pull it off others can't.

the catch with protecting your paint on long trips with the bra is adding more air resistance and decreasing mpg

^Haha. I tried so hard to like my Colgan. I'd rock it for long trips, but since I never really took any, I sold it :D They're too ugly for anything else. The leather feels nice though...

Keep your paint looking nice by making your car look hideous! The logic behind car bras confuses me.

This is about their only useful purpose, leaving them on damages the paint in the long run. I will instead use blue painters tape, as using profanity and protecting the important bits is a win-win situation.

Yeah, you can have rock chips, which are only noticeable up close, or with a bra, fade lines and worn paint form bra rubbing which is noticeable feet away + its looks ugly with it on.

Rock chips are the lesser of the two evils.
