          Bras are so bad for paint. People think they're saving their front end from rock chips, but as soon as you get some dirt/dust/whatever else under there, and that thing flaps around in the wind while you're driving, you start to pretty much sand your paint.

                  I'm wondering if the clear lamin-x chip protectors have a tendency to fade paint unevenly just like a car bra. I figure whatever material it is that they use must have some UV protection in it so the laminate itself doesn't fade.

                      Drove my turbo M3 from Louisville to Orlando and back several times. A couple with the bra, a couple without.

                      Miles on a full tank with bra: 320
                      Miles on a full tank without bra: 320

                      Nope, not buying it.....so many other factors come into play.

                      Also, you can buff out scratches from the bra, but you can't buff out a rock chip.
