My Avus E30 with new Brock B1's (polished lips)

Well after a few hard days of stripping and polishing I finally got my brocks on. And if you ask me, I think they look gooood. 17x8.5 and 17x10 with 205/40's and 245/40's

I love the way those rims look. Especially the way the spokes meet the lips, they are just awesome rims.

That being said... those tires are just plain ridiculous, especially in the rear. The sidewall doesn't even look stretched, it looks straight up distorted.

    RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

They are pretty streatched. But I definately am looking for 245/35's for those. They are a little on the meaty side.

I stripped the paint with aircraft stripper then sanded with a micro DA sander. But from 400-2000 was all wetsanded by hand. It is definately not a quick process. But I think its well worth it.

Thanks I'm going to look into it, don't brock b1's come with polished/machined lips as an option correct?
Have any close ups of the lips?

They do come with a polished option, but it only goes up to the spokes, I polished all the way around the spokes.

hot car, hot wheels, but the combo doesnt work. the wheels ruin your car, too big, they're stupid looking.

Seriously - 17x10's? It looks ridiculous. To each his own, but come on. It's not like you've got 600 hp and need that kind of width. Drop the front end to the ground and jack the rear end up - bring back the classic hot rod look. :)

Whatever works for you buddy...couple inches wider and you'd be considered an open wheel car - the first formula E30!

I love Brock B1s, but those look goofy.. they stick way too far outside the fenders. maybe if you had some sort of flares they'd look better. I think I would have gone with 16x9 all around.
