I think some people on here are forgetting that our cars aren't very spectacular, but that is the very reason we own them in the first place. Here is another nissan guy wringing his out on track...notice its about stock height and i gurantee he has forgotten more about suspensions then most of us will know. Its Dave Coleman from sport compact car fame.

Beautiful car man, a 95' Maxima was my first car and that thing was a blast to drive! I wouldn't be caught going under 60 in that car anywhere..
That 318 is clean, can't wait for my girl to be that clean. Also that is the first 318 I like the rear spoiler in black, I'm planning on doing that but every time I see one like that it looks weird. Now I feel better.Different strokes for different folks.Comment

Yep i actally owned one bought it with 10k miles on it in 94. Biggest shit box i ever owned. Loved the styling but needed constant work and i love my SR more then the 16v just personal preferenceI was born with nothing and still have most of it left

That looks in great shape. Those are great cars for their time. Not very many people now how great they are. The SR motor is a fantastic motor.
FWD does not mean slow on a road course. If you know how it works you can do quite well. (EX: NASA Spec races and Touring cars) In a matter of fact, my car beats most RWD in tight and fast Autox courses. The only ones that generally beat my times are Miatas and S2Ks Subarus, and Evos. (depending on the drivers of course). In a matter of fact, I have more fun with my car then RWD cars. I can get sideways too :).2002 SVT Focus for track and DD.

I loved my 91 SE-R and had a bunch of bolt on NA mods to it. Jim Wolf ECU, headers, CAI, underdrives, NX2000 brakes, Kosei K1's... The car had great seats, good reliability and economy. Sometimes regret selling it but that was when I knew less about cars.
There was a comparison article in Car and Driver I think between one of these and a 91 325is. The Nissan got a great review and they said that the E30 had marginally better at limit handling feel but overall rated the Sentra as way better bang for the buck. They said the only thing the Senta lacked was an expensive hood emblem :)
These days my stable (in the family at least), we own 2 E30's and a newly acquired nearly rust free E28 535i for $1200 so I guess I made my decision about what I like the most which is solid German tank like construction over 90's front drivers. Thank you and your right. Most are not old enough to remember that this car was faster then a IROC and 5.0 stang in 91 and wasnt a far cry behind a vette. Even without it being lowered the car is a absolute blast to drive.

Nice looking car, I searched for awhile for one of those but couldn't find one clean enough for a decent price. I drove a supercharged SVT Focus for 7 years, FWD may not be the choice of performance cars but a well sorted FWD can be an absolute blast. My SVT was easily more toss-able and responsive than my E30 currently is.91 318is M50 swapped
