My late M44-swapped 318i after tint, wheels and H&R sports

Not as low as some of you guys but that Volvo lip still scrapes on everything. No great loss if it falls off right?

Optical illusion, it has forward rake

Say what you will about XXR's they fit nice. This Maxxis 215 40 16 looks perfect. not nearly as stretched as the Sumitomos on the other 3 wheels

You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
I say "Where's your other camshaft?"
    Frankenmotor: if an M42, M44, M20, S50, and S52 were to have a kid.

Looking good. With XXR's though I love the rear fitment and not so much with the front. I am in the same boat with mine... if only the front were +20 and not +15.

You have a 318, a late model, and H&R sports. Of course you have reverse rake ;)

Looks like a clean base for molestation though

It has E90 drop hats in the front, so it actually is down a bit in the front. It looks so high in pics but is plenty low in daily driving. I think the 521's are 20mm offset. But I do agree the fronts could be tucked ion a few mm. I'm afraid the new tires will rub up front

edit: Schnitzer - I might hit you up for some turbo info when that day comes. I am content not to put a big heavy engine in the front in order to make decent power.

I need those drop hats... I have the dreaded reverse rake at the moment.

Let me know about the turbo... happy to help. It makes plenty of power, am thinking about getting it dyno'd this next weekend. Would have to drive to Houston to do it, but hey would be fun.

Clean car, I like it. Nothing wrong with not "super slamming" the car but with your current height you really can't pull off those undersized tires. Would look better with some 205/50 or 225/45.

Didn't you see Star Wars? Its a stormtrooper...minus the black wheels. And I re-installed the chrome roof gutter trim because I hated the poor-quality m-tech black trim done by the PO.
Wheels are 16X8 XXR 521's. I am pretty sure the offset is 20. The tires were basically free and will be corrected when they wear out.

again with a broken record, tries. You could fit a shoe in that gap.

other than that it looks awesome

EDIT: also use some zipties to pull in the ends of your volvo lip, makes it look a LOT better

thanks. and I am mostly just waiting for my wife to rip it off on a curb so I can get a real Is lip and side skirts.

Honestly if your worried about scraping the front lip if the car was lower, switch to just an "I" lip. If it was a little lower overall and you added the "I" lip it would look cleaner than now overall imo. But other than that i think it looks good, keep it up man.
