You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
I say "Where's your other camshaft?"

Looks like a clean base for molestation though
This, H&R Race springs would change everything for the ride height. Future plans should be H&R race with 15mm drop hats. Nothing wrong with XXR wheels, they are well made great looking wheels at a great price. I plan on getting the XXR 531 in the future, so clean.

And try to remember that skinny tires are made for very low cars. If you put some proper height tires on there you would close the gap. Looks like you're running a 215/40/16? Try 225/50/16 next time.

Uh ok. I'll 'try to remember' that. My ride height is perfect for the DD purpose of this car. The low camera angle makes the gap look much bigger than in real-life. H&R race are not in my future plans, but thanks for expressing your feelings that they "should be". Other than the Volvo lip and banged up front valance (I have a straight one but its silver), I am completely happy with how my car looks.

I love the wheels. It'd help to shadowline the trim so the tint doesn't look so drugdealer-ish, as for the volvo lip 4x4 or slammed that shit is going to scrape. Better off going oem and getting the "i" lip, even the "is" lip if you have the chedder.

P.S. some meaty 205/55/15 would really fill up the gap, and give you a more comfortable ride

flip the volvo lip upright, it'll look way better. here is a picture of my previous 318 with volvo upright

Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

An Is lip is on my long list of wants- including side skirts. Someday when I get the chedder as you say.

205/55/15 tires won't fit on his 16" wheels.

Definite +1 on 225/45, not only will it fill up the fender gap a bit more, it will also give you the exact same rolling diameter as stock.

225/45 doesn't have many different choices it seems like.

16's don't have much choice in general :\

I just got my fully built M44 up and running tonight. The swap includes and OBDII 318ti control unit- because MAF, and knock sensors. The latter are greatly appreciated since I have 11.5:1 compression. Here are the rest of the specs:
                          1950cc's total
Ported/polished late M42 head w/ early exh cam and a Delta intake cam
I went with all early intake manifolds since I think they favor higher rpm use.
S50 pistons milled to achieve the above comp ratio.
Bunch of other less interesting stuff
                          Vid is on IG 320ie30
