Its 48,436.85 pesos approximately 4403.35 I already have everything but the radiator & suspension parts. This is for the court to get the max from the jerk that caused the accident.

The car domain logo is covering the 6,317.85 in tax.

Radiator is scraped but unbroken (whew damn thing is 6 months old) They say the suspension is fine but I think at least the control arm is bent. I have to go to the dealer at 4 to get their completed estimate so I will see what availability on it and the tierods are.

Many parts are used on cars that were sold here so are in country (oil pan for example) Hopefully the control arms & tie rods were recycled to something that is here.

I took pictures of the disassembly but don't have the card reader or camera cable here at my office. I'll upload them when I get home.

Jesus Cristo! Who's mexican pile of shit is that?

OOHHH Sorry Stefan! That's YOUR car! :)

Really doesn't look that bad without the damaged body parts on it - I love finding hit cars and taking the hit body parts, seeing what's underneath. It never looks that bad once you're down to frame.

Keep us posted - don't let that 400 grand in pesos go to waste :)

Yuppers it b mine. Not nearly as bad as I thought. I expected the whole front support to be totaled on that side. In about an hour I go to get the final tally from BMW. I also just found out the moron had one last gasp & took it: reenactment. he gonna b sorry. It is so cut & dried that all a reenactment can do is make the judge say pay full cost & I want your shirt too!!! lol

The current state of the car is just disasembled to get the full extent of the damage for the final actual estimate when I have that I will dicker them down a bit I expect to pay right around 2K.

                        Here is another pic:

and the final dealer estimate bodywork is about 2400.00

Here is todays progress as of noon local time. The hood is sanded & the first coat of primer is on.

Here is the core support & frame rail from the donor car. Thank God they gave me the whole thing!

I asked about the AC & they said R12 is cheap and available so I just need the o rings for the connectors to the condensor.

Todays progress has the frame's slight bend repaired to spec on the caroliner & core support being welded in. Fender is ready to go on & hood is drying.

The bad: control arm b dead

The good progress is going quickly:
