    My 440whp daily e30

    update from post 138:
little update. ive done alot of cosmetic updates and fixes to the interior and exterior of the car.... and im going to sell it. i will draw up a for sale ad this weekend, take pics and post a proper for sale thread. thanks for all the support and comments guys!!

what up guys! been on here for a while, never really made a build thread or intro so here it is. the basics:

    89 325i hellrot red
ie3 springs, bilstien shocks, e90 drop hats, 15mm pad in rear
rx7/corrado bbk, hawk pads all around, ss lines
cabrio sway bars, strut bars, e30m3 control arm bushings, all new rubber

    2.5l m20
oringed block (thanks boris!), stock gasket
    arp headstuds
    vac turbo cam
    garrett 60-1
tial 38mm wastegate, hks ssqv bov
3inch exhaust magnaflow res, dynomax muffler
megasquirt 1extra with wasted spark and gm coilpack
    uuc stg2 clutch, 3.25lsd rearend

last dyno the car made about 440whp 415wtq at 18ish psi. i was using a cheap mbc so boost control wasnt stable in all runs, got that fixed with a hallman mbc. also changed my plugs and gapped them to .025 instead of .029, because it seemed like the graph was breaking up after 6k rpms.

    dyno run video

    older vids:

this is version 1 turbo build, .50ar t3t4, 3inch straight pipe stock motor. walk around and sound check.

highway pull. this is my old turbo setup car had about 300 wheel. recorded with one hand on wheel fishtailing lol.

Awesome, I dont think my car will ever be at that level of power.

You'll love the hallman mbc I use on in my wrx and it works flawlessly.

not sure on the strut bar, i bought it new locally for 20$ and it has no branding on it. probably ebay material lol, but it is really sturdy and pretty :)

i usually keep the boost controller at 18psi and drive around like that. you never know when youll need the power and you cant just say hey let me pull over and turn my boost up!!. i just practice alot of foot control ;). it is really easy to get out of control, especially in this cold weather. in inclement weather, or if its just too cold out i have a 2011 maxima that i drive. its just so much more fun to drive the e30 to work.

Only thing that would make this car better is of the top folded down.

Jesus Christ called, he wants his e30 back.

nice job dude, you have to bring it out to the friday meets more often.

impressive that you started with an ebay kit too.
