I say push it back into the lake. :D.
It *was* only about 200 yards to Lake Hartwell from where it was sitting, downhill too, tempting, but now I've already hauled it across town.
I'm feeling pretty smug, but if I'm wrong, I promise to let r3v have it's schadenfreude.sigpic

My current car was about that bad when i pulled it from a barn. It was worse if anything else. It wasn't moldy but it was completely covered in mouse shit/piss and dirt and more left over acorns and sawdust looking stuff then i've ever seen. It was so bad I had to hold my breath to sit in it when I rolled it off the trailer. Just thinking about it I can smell it again.
Trust me, it can be brought back to awesomeness. I cleaned everything, and I do mean everything except the electronics (obviously) the best way I knew how. Actually I even wiped down all electrical boxes to get rid of any junk that may have stuck. Gotta be meticulous. Lots of soap in the right places, elbow grease etc.
I pulled the seats, carpet, door cards, seat belts, dash, etc and washed it with laundry degerent and a sanitizer to kill bacteria and mold without bleaching the color out. I'm sure there are a lot of things that will kill that mold. I used this on the carpets along with a big bucket of hot soapy water. I hit it twice actually and let it dry in the sun for a few days during august. It was totally f'd when I pulled it and now it's immaculate. Worst case you'd have to dye it.
I washed inside the shell after I stripped the interior just for good measure and used a shop vac to suck it all out. I used ONR to cut any dirt without causing a soapy mess. Took the dash out and used purple power to get rid of the old musty smell and wiped down what was behind. Purple power destroys dirt. Great stuff. Cleans door cards, etc etc all of it. Nice thing is that this all costs very little, just takes a lot of time. The only reason I did it was because the seats, dash, etc were almost perfect despite the mess. No tears, no rust on the body etc etc.
Now it's about the cleanest car I've ever been in that isn't new. Used a little bit of zaino leather conditioner because it smells great. People can't believe it and would never believe it given how bad it was before. The only part I had trouble with was getting the rear wheel arches. I need to find the drain plug, fill it with bleach water or something and then drain it. The mice used that area as a storage room. Hell, they used the whole car as a playground but that area is hard to get to. I shopped vac'd a bunch of shit out but it still had a little smell in the trunk. Febreeze and time took care of it but I want it immaculate.
During this time I paid a guy to do a paint correction on the exterior. I only wish I would have taken pics/videos of the inside before I went to town. You honestly could smell it from 20 ft away with the door open. It was BAD!

As far as mechanical stuff. That all depends. Timing belt and fluid flushes for sure.Euro S50 Daily Driver: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=279195
