Show me your 200k+ mile car

^ thanks for that but was really thinking more along the lines of $ spent cumulative since the day each was driven off the showroom floor.

I know we will never know but I bet each has to be approaching 10k or much, much more by 200k plus miles.

When I bought my 85 325e from the original owner (my aunt), it came with a folder of every single service done to the vehicle since new. It was always serviced at the local BMW dealer, occasionally Sears/Autozone for light bulbs, batteries, etc... But every receipt was there.

I added it up one day, it was just over $20k. The original pink slip from 1985 for the car was $21.5k. In the last 12 years, I've easily spent another $15k on it. I personally put 200k VERY hard miles on the car, and it had 100k when I got it. So for a total of about $60k, I have myself an 85 325e.

oh yeah, this guy had like 260k when the odometer stopped working... then it spent a solid 3 years thrashing about on the ring. Hard life and still holding on strong!
