You can't tell how good the paint is by seeing photographs made from that distance.
On photos, most paintjobs look great, you dont see details at all, until you make some closeup photographs.

I'am not a car painter, but I wonder how long the paint will last well on the car, until it brakes or something alike.

Thanks for all the complements. Yeah it's at stock ride height and the wheels are the stock 14" weaves. I'll hopefully have the cash for a full suspension refresh by summer. Just depends if I can find a new job. I'll upload the close up pics in a little bit.

It's actually been a month since I painted it 88SuperETABD.

Edit: here are the close ups

Most of the fuzz is on the roof because some dust got on it while I was painting. But it should come off with some sanding.

Like I said, the panel isn't perfect.

Nice color. I love flat and satin paint on cars.

Sorry, but I am a painter and as clever as it can look I can't approve this kind of refinish. It is just that if it will ever get a real paint job you will go through hell trying to get rid of all of that rattle can paint. :hitler:

I doubt this car will ever get a real paint job. It's my first car so I'm just having fun with it right now. It will become a dedicated AutoX/track car some time down the road and the money I saved doing a rattle can job is going towards a good suspension setup.

But seriously though, I like this. How's the maintenance? can you wash it and what not? Also, how many cans did you use?
