    The shifter moved back and forth when I shifted and there was lots of clunking. They looked dry rotted, but you really have to jack up the motor to see the true condition.

    More stuff:

    Today my axles came in:


    I finally got the rear coils on:

    Then, I moved to the front:

    Everything when in good until I tried to get the hub off the old housing:




    Two new hubs coming in soon...

    So I got excited with the ease at which the tranny mounts in, so I decided to tackle the motor mounts. Of course, I didnt have a engine lift, so I used a piece of wood and supported the engine with a jack stand. After lowering the subframe, I saw this:





    and this: a cracked motor arm. It looks as if someone tried to weld it. I'll be picking one up from the junkyard as soon as possible.




    Everything finally got it mounted up. I had to take the passenger side mount arm off and replace it.

    Hey your trans mounts are doing an awesome job of mounting the trans!

    When I got under my car to take the m42 out my mounts were similar to this as well as the guibo.
