I hope you and your friend recover quickly. Don't take the headaches lightly, and definitely follow up with your doc. Head injuries often don't really manifest themselves physically even when serious damage is occurring internally.

Sorry about the car. Hopefully insurance doesn't give you the kind of trouble other people on this forum seem to be having.

Thanks everybody! More the likely the guy was texting or on the phone. I just got out of the hospital and alive. My right shoulder, neck, and head is killing me! I'm Definetely going after the guy that hit us. My buddy is in pretty bad shape! His arm broke in 3 places. He had to have pins placed in his arm. Well here's some more pics I took when I got home.

If you compare the height of my bumper to the height of a modern SUV, it's set to blow away my trunk. Heck, even pushing shopping carts can be dangerous, most of them are taller than my bumper, and my car is not lowered.

Damn! One of the consequences of lowering cars. Puts the bumper below everyone else's. Likely would have totaled it anyway. Wonder if the impact would have been even worse? Less absorption of energy?
