Yes, got it running. The ECU was the problem. A new one was shipped from a member in Australia and the problem was solved. Once Im out of school this June Ill have some time to put into this. On break I replaced brake lines, all fuel lines, cleaned injectors, fixed vac leaks, IE street rear subframe bushings and RTABs, and stripped/painted rear subframe. Next up is the timing belt, waterpump, new exhaust (old one was rotted out) and body work. Hopefully Mtech I someday when I get money. As for the wheel, I really dont know, someone said its a euro sport wheel. Doesnt look too sporty to me

Very slow progress. I graduate the academy this Saturday, so Ill have some time to get things done before I ship out. Im home this week and will tackle the timing belt and water pump to atleast get it reliable for the road, and hopefully some new tires since these on the stock steelies are dry rotted. Hopefully Ill find some weaves or bottlecaps locally for the time being. I have it running pretty well finally, right now Im focusing on getting it on the road, Id like to drive something other than my lifted cherokee! Once things really get going Ill start something up in the project section.

That car is much cooler than you might think. First, it's a Euro, so you get the sweet bumpers, funky interior bits, it's a manual trans, AND it's a slicktop. The whole car probably weighs 2,300 lbs or so. Fenders are cheap and easy. What you have there is a quite rare E30 that should provide a solid foundation for a sweet ride. For God's sake don't butcher the thing; plan your mods and resto work carefully and listen to the style police on this forum before you do anything major. Nice pick up!
