Hello Everyone. I suppose I'll introduce myself and my car at the same time. My name is Matt and I drive a 1988 325is. I am in San Diego where I go to school. I lurk here and post on some other forums. I'm no expert but I've had some cool cars in the past.
Datsun 240z's were my first love and my first true project car was a 73 Datsun 240z that I built up a bit. I've had some other cars...but most for a short amount of time due to the fact that I was looking for something I REALLY liked. To name a few...81 745i Turbo, 87 Merc 190e 2.3-16v, 3 other 240z's, and a few others.
My 325is is pretty much stock...JC chip is the only deviation. I haven't decided what I want to do with it yet...I've thrown around the possibilities of setting the car up for an M50, doing a mild M20 setup, or replacing my motor with an S14 and replacing the rest of my car with the rest of an E30 M3(also known as selling the 325is and finding a decent M3).
Anyways, here are a few pics.

I should also mention how I originally got into e30's. I was buying a pair of seats from a gentleman in Sunnyvale who had a black 87 325is. I think his handle is Rich V. Needless to say that after I got the seats I asked him a few questions about his car and he generously took my buddy and I for a 5 minute ride(which happened to be my first e30 ride).
Long story short...built m20 + standalone fuel system + ground control setup = one freakin' scary ride. He took us through 3 turns very hard and around turn 3 we saw a little oversteer to say the least. Anyways, ever since that ride I've been sold...
Enjoy.
