"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.
He has Ground Control Coilovers. Dunno what spring rates though ;)

I love the setup for HPDEs. (see sig, on the smoother track, car has a lot less roll than the choppy Auto-X, and Auto-X takes a backseat to roadcourse) Both me and my friend/co-driver (#85) agreed the body roll wasn't really problematic or intrusive, but only looked funny and gave feedback. (feeling the weight transfer and shift is actually pretty good for me learning at the track)
475/650 rates, m3 front swaybar endlinks, and the rear bar back on will be a fast car..... once i know how to drive it, that is.

I was told the same thing from Billy Revis, mentioned they're really a lot of fun w/out the rear sway.
Most people go bigger bars due to the lack of spring rates.... though what you 'want' is to have high spring rates with lack of swaybar stiffness... if that makes sense..
I'd run a stiffer rate before taking my rear bar out...
I notice the rear end not wanting to slide out anymore from under me going around Turn 9 at 75mph, which is a nice change.
(was a problem. no rear bar = solution)
Big bars in back make e30s twitchy and nervous, according to multiple sources. get-fast (Jon Felton) liked that feeling. I don't. I like stable. I'd probably love an E36, but this helps our e30 trailing arm setups a little bit, as far as I've come across and people I've communicated with about it. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=423480 has a little talk about (running w/o a rear bar)
You can eliminate body roll with spring rates and live without a rear bar. I just don't have any need to do so at this moment. Obviously Alex's setup works well too but I dunno how the car is dynamically....but he might need it to be twitchy to dodge all those cones! haha. (what Felton was saying, it may be nervous, but you can point the car exactly where you want it.... only problem is messing up or being a n00b and learning on that)
It's nice to not upgrade the rear bar, because you forgo the need of reinforcement and stuff, but can still run M3 front endlinks with the stock or a cabby bar, or go for adjustability with a ST one.
