    Long road ahead, eh?
I'd rather have a gorgeous M10 that turns on a dime than pull an M50 on 60R14s and tiny brakes. But you'll have fun whichever way you go.

You forgot that as long as it has a roundel on it, it doesn't matter what it is, its better than any other car out there.

You may want my disc brakes off my 325E along with other stuff early 318s lack, I'm unsure on the differences. You still got dibs on the fender, but sadly a kid at my school already bought the seats. Get me a list, things are going fast.

I had an m50tu in my '84 318i. Oh and it was the same color too. Talk about a sleeper.

Can be done for about $2500 I would say.

I had 318 brakes for the 6 months I drove her. Was fine for day to day use, but I would be affraid to go to a track.

If I could do it over I would have rebuilt the m10 for a hefty turbo, though.

You will still have one of the lieghtest e30s out there, but you will be a little heavier than the 318i.

good luck. and don't even bother buffing or ploshing, Safari Biege is a bastard German color, and you can pull off a trashy sleeper with that hue. That is what I did...
