Thanks for the comments. Some detail pics are here http://www.members.shaw.ca/jgreznik/ on my dated website. The OBD2 intake will be gone next spring, along with adding S52 cams and somebodies programming. It was fine initially, but now I want more, and the top end does'nt make any power. It's bit me in the ass at low speeds a few times though, even with the LSD.

I'd like to come to see your car someday in the spring since winter is coming up...I'm in Red Deer, whereabouts in cow-town are ya?

You need to get that thing into obd1 trim. it will be a whole different animal.

                Hey Mike,

A bit of a confession, the car is in the Okanagan, where I'm from. I just moved to cowtown a few weeks ago for work.
I am planning on staying here, as long as work stays steady, and that means the car will be here next spring.

Thought long and hard about it, but I think 200ish hp with the cams/intake/programming will be plenty. Main thing ito me is its totally driveable and reliable. The codes it gives out are emission stuff, like secondary air pump, fuel tank evap valve, post cat O2(no cats), etc. BMW mechs I've spoken with say this should'nt affect the power output, so right now Im ignoring them. The cats might go in 'cause they do affect cruise fuel economy from what I've learned, and these days that matter's.

                  Cheers'

                    Car looks astounding.

Cosmetically speaking, I would get some smoked taillights and I would lose the badge on the back. I like the cleaned look.

Man I love this car, looks great, especially the plastic bumper swap. I would get some different wheels though, but thats up to you. What else do you have planned cosmetically?

Finally, rims uglier than OZ Volcanos! :p

                      Nice car, nicer engine.

Its funny, the wheels are what I get the most compliments on!:D They're kinda funny though, in that they look better from the side, and rolling. For me, they made the look I was after, and like you said, it's personal preference. The car has taken a noticeable set since the pics, with the wheels almost in the wheelwells.

As for the body mods, it's done. I wanted the minimal factory sport look, no big wings, loud exhaust, etc. Even the color is factory(2003).
Interestingly, the comments on the clean look of the car have come from the ricer crowd, big wings, loud paint and all.
I might consider a functional aero package, but its stable at 200km/h +, and I dont do those speeds often, so it's not a priority.

Im kinda flirting with the idea of a low pressure turbo though, but thats only thinking right now.

                        Cheers'

Nice car. i like the 328ci badge, but i probably would have just left it "328i". Can't wait for some out of the garage pics!

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

jrez, what rear apron did you use on the car, under the rear bumper? It looks to be the stock apron from a late model car, cut off and fitted to your car. If that's the case, how did you attach it to your car? I've been playing with the idea of doing exactly that for my car for a while now.
