    My daily 318iS

Well I picked it up in early December, and have lurked here ever since, decided to post up now.

1991 318iS with about 370k miles on the motor, still runs like a champ with no problems coming from the engine

    Lowered 2" on Vogtland Springs
    Mark D Chip
Random intake thrown in (previous owner was running an open intake :tsk: )
Dynomax Muffler (not installed properly courtesy of the previous owner also )

I am currently saving up for an s50 turbo swap, unless anyone else has better ideas, I am open to anything. The car needs alot of work, there is body damage on the passenger side along with rust... not much of it, but it's there.

Thanks, I am down in Waldorf, Funf actually got me to start posting on here. I didn't think there were many E30 owners in the area, but I was mistaken, Some guy actually stopped me at wawa last night who was driving an E90 and said he just bought a 91 318iS so I know there is now two of us here in the waldorf area.

I'm not far from Waldorf and I work in Suitland at Passport BMW. If you see a bright red obnoxiously loud coupe sitting in traffic that's probably me. I don't drive it every day though.

I have seen one red coupe in Waldorf but it was completely bone stock. I pass few Mechanicsville on my way to Lexington Park when I go to my bands practices though. Also check your PM's.

Yikes, that was a tough 370K but it made it this far...hopefully if on the up swing. It looks like its all there but im scared to ask how the interior is. Do the maintenance and bring her back to a respectable level. If it we me, id pick a better shell to put a S50T in but report back and lets set it done in the project section.

Well i like the idea of flat green, i realize that paint jobs are expensive.
I vote eventually properly paint it flat green.

if money is really that tight, save for a rainy day. not an s50 swap. or at least a clean >150k mile shell for a future s50 swap.

are you selling it? i could have sworn i saw a matte green e30 on clist a few weeks ago. do your required maintenance and spend as little on it as possible. it looks like a great daily.
