so other than the bumper tuck, are there any other fairly easy/cheap visual mods for e30's that are worth doing? in hondas the wiper and antenna delete's are real popular

I shaved my antenna. Not much else you could do. Red tails yellow high 2nd trunk light shadow line trim

I paid $900 for rust free body, with 1 actual dent (had like 2 dings), and a running/good shape m10 that had a grip of new parts installed That I drove home from Long Beach to Riverside no issues. Are you allowed to upgrade the top end of your engine at all so it can rev higher?

around here, that would go for 2-3k with the milage mine has. im close to DC so the prices of everything are higher and all the fan boys on vadriven (local car forum) ask 2-3 times the price for everything they sell and little ricer fanboy kids my mommy and daddy's money will pay it and thus inflation do to a wealthy, flooded market.

and I can replace parts with OEM spec parts, but I can not do much upgrading. if its something that makes the car more reliable, typically I can, but if it increases HP, torque, or my red line, not really. however, there are ways to bend the rules and my uncle drag raced for 30 some years and is a motor genius and theres a lot you can do with tuning a motor to make good hp, even with all stock parts.

                      nice...

I also used to tinker with Jeeps, own an SBC (assuming you mean "small British cars"), and have an '85 318 - but for Rallycross. And I'm in No Va. as well.

Let me know if you need anything, I have a good stash of early/M10 parts sitting around. Come this winter I'll also have a nicely-running M10/G240 and all accessories available (plus an extra M10 head and block, and an extra G240).

Yes, I am doing an M42 swap but it's only because the M42 is better for the rallycross application.

I may run the rallycross car in some autocross this summer though, so let me know if you're going to any events.

btw, there are a number of e30 guys in the NoVa area. Hit me up and I'll put you in touch with them. Many of them have A LOT of parts available.

vadriven is retarded...I never go on there.

name sound vaguely familiar, but I've autocrossed for years in a WRX. My e30 has only done rallycross and I don't really do e30 meets or anything - just know guys locally from other cars, or from motorsports.

I've autocrossed the last 2 seasons with BMWCCA (in a WRX). What club are you running with - SCCA, AI, CDC, NCC?

we both go to Mason. He's been doing it longer and much more often than I do and he does all kinds of events. I just do whatever he does (since I drive his car or at least had been) and idk what they are. I will be doing scca mainly when i start. I thought about doing rallycross and I may end up doing both. we'll see. ill probably stick with auto x since thats what my friend does and ill have someone to split hotel costs with and chill with at events
