88 325IS Before and After!!!- In progress

ok, this is an update for this project.
Bought this shiney, shiney original paint, low miler from the second owner who knows how to keep a BMW nice.

    1988 325Is 5speed Bronzite:

Dumped the old bumpers, took the gear off my 1990 Silver IS and had it Pro painted and cleared to the old car. Put in a Euro RDS Bmw Single disk digital pix unit- Wow - very loud and clear just using the old stock 17 year old system! Cutting out the entire interior out of the car this week, losing the Borbets and getting BBS 15''s on it. Full Black leather going in this week. Factory Moon roof too.... more pics as I get there
    BEFORE

    AFTER

    New UPDATE: REAR

    OLD REAR

    NEW REAR

    SIDE SKIRTS AND TRIM NEXT

More pics in a few days....

You can get one from a BMW z3 convertible and it rocks! works with the old amp and speakers in the car and seriously is louder than my alpine set up I have in my other beater!!! This is the only unit that will go in my e30s from now on. And it is CD Changer ready... or maybe Ipod?

Any idea if those head units have an adapter to go from the cd-changer input to another device?

hi, quick question; the unit sticks out a little from the panel; is that because of the depth of the unit or the depth of the bezel? or something else? thanks!

This one will fit a Alpine changer 96 & up with a interface- Some interfaces have Ipod outputs and such. Just depends on who makes it

The unit will fit flush- no problem/ You just have to file down the little lip on the inside of the radio hole on the AC panel

and you can buy one of these for your Ipod:

It's a nice deck if you don't care too much about the sound quality. You can add an Ipod & Sub without ruining the stock look.

But I think the Traffic Pro is the best stock single din deck ever !
