    Canada Double E30 Build Thread - Pic Heavy

    Resurrecting the 87is

    When I bought it:
    Alpinweiss 1987 325is.
    m20 5-speed coupe
    271458km , ad stated 20000 on rebuilt motor by reliable euro shop in my city. I see hex head bolts and febi rocker arms not sure what else.
    4.10 lsd
    Vibrant cat back exhaust
    Pacific Blue leather sport interior
    power sunroof (working motor)
    power windows (not working)
    Pop out rear windows
    Crack free dash
    Mint mtech wheel
    heated front seats
    Ski pass back seat
    13 button obc
    Working check panel
    ractive cone cold air intake
    rust

    Up to date mods:
    Replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor
    Replaced hood shock
    Replaced battery
    Painted amber corners on tails red
    173 ecu
    Replaced glovebox latch
    green top m50 injectors
    More rust

        In my completely biased opinion there is no better E30 than the '87 iS. Looking forward to seeing progress on this one.

                i got my first e30 wihen i was 16 im 18 now great times your gonna love it but you bank account wont gl. Check out my car thread if u want i got a 90 vert with DB in the front with late model valence and is lip and a split you might want to look at it for reference its looks tits if u ask me stay with DBs

                  THIS! my father had an 87is in the e30s hay day and sold it to my cousin who totaled it in 90 =D Maybe it was too fast

                              Just picked up from turner motorsports:
                              -fresh intake boot
                              -oil/oil filter
                              -fuel filter
                              -timing belt and tensioner
                              -alternator belt
                              -a/c belt
                              -power steering belt
                              -control arms
                              -hood shock
                              -momo hub

                              -plastic bumper conversion kit, thanks ernie from toronto
                              -glovebox latch, thanks SixerFixer!
                              -Bosch platinum spark plugs, oem plug wires, distributor cap & rotor (from family friend)
                              -dssr and all parts needed for getting rid of that sloppy tranny from turnermotorsport and a few others, see here thanks NoSnowJustIce for the garagistic delrin bushings!
