Thanks! I put about 20k miles on it since the rebuild 2 years ago. I changed a lot of stuff... built an m60b44 hybrid (4.4 bottom end, 4.0 heads), swapped in a 6 speed, etc... The car is an absolute blast to drive, and has been pretty much problem free since I put it back together with the new engine this past winter.

ok just cam across this thread after about a month of wanting to do an M60 swap, and trying to budget it out. After I read the other thread of this, I was so impressed. I picked up my E30 only recently and love the car but the M20 is just too slow for me and what i wanna do, this is gonna be my motivation for the swap and can't wait to start it. if anyone knows any good threads to get better info on parts that I will need then feel free to reply with them it will help me out tons.
