That's one handsome looking M3 except those side black lines added.

As well the shop, remind me of the body and paint shop my dad made back in 98' year with fresh floor paint...

Yes, the crooked exhaust will be going soon. I ordered an original exhaust from Turner Motor Sports already. Hopefully I'll get to have it installed soon.

Here are a couple more shots of the 4 door E30 325i. I'll try and get more as this is a real pristine E30 sedan as well. :)

Hitting the track, he had the rims changed since the basketweaves had the track tires on them.

Took the car back to the paint shop to address the rust spots on the under chassis but we also took the opportunity to work on the windshield frame as well. Due to time constraints (the car had to enter a car show), I didn't have my windshield removed anymore during the last wash-over painting. I know that's a common spot for rust and it was always on next on my list of things to do. So this time, we made sure to get everything done right.

Windshield removed. Covered up for now since we don't want dust to get into the car.

Luckily not too much rust. Though we made sure to take care of any surface rust and treat the area to hopefully make it rust free for another 15 years.

Had to remove the dashboard again to make sure we don't miss a single spot.

                    Next up, engine work!

Engine work. Nothing major here. It's more a combination of a complete service and some preventive maintenance work to ensure that the engine lasts for many more years to come. :)

First up was the installation of an oil baffle kit from Turner Motorsports.

Replaced all the gaskets, seals, etc and cleaned up the engine. We noticed some loose valve guides so we had those replaced.

Replaced the all important timing chain and chain guides. A very common problem on S14 engines.

Working underneath the car. We had to replace a bunch of air-conditioning parts as well. Can't live without air-con here!

Never hurts to make sure we got everything right by cross referencing it with the BMW computer.

                      Engine's all done! :)

Interior all done! Since the gray interior was a way past it's prime, I had a hard time finding a suitable fix/replacement that would match. As a result, I went with an interior swap to black. Not exactly original but it's the best I was able to do with the resources I have available here. Kept it as BMW as possible with a few Evo touches here and there. Also slapped on a ZHP shifter since I love the design of it so much.

In comparison, here are a bunch of before shots of the interior.

With the car pretty much all done, it only seemed appropriate to take the M3 on an inaugural run to the track!

Cooling down at the paddock. The rocks are there since I didn't want to pull up the handbrake just yet and wanted the brakes to cool down. :)

                          A few close up shots.

On the way home from a full day at the track.

Overall, an awesome day. Love how the E30 M3 feels on the track. Even if it was more of a cruise (just to get kinks out of the car) than timed laps, the car felt so poised and drivable. What a true E30 M3 should be!

Finished off the car with black Evo tape strips on the bumpers.

And a set of Motorsport door handles. :)

That's it for now! Time to go out and drive this legend! :)
