I had an old momo steering wheel that was faded and sticky. I think the last owner tried to darken it with something and it made it perpetually sticky. I went ahead and bought a new one. Alcantara/Suede or whatever it is. Sure feels good. I like materials that are hard to clean for some reason.

Now the steering wheel matches the shifter.. They both say MOMO Italy

KYB's are great on a stock height car but they won't last too long on yours.

What size tires are you going with?

You need to make it out to our southbay meet. Maybe we can talk some sence into ya. Dont change anything on the car. It looks good. As for the wheels, they fit and look good. Like Matt said above , they have good offset and clear your BBK.

Since it seems like you got some deep pockets id get some bilstien sport shocks and get some better tires such as starspecs or rt615k's.

CLEAN CAR! Dont mess it up.

I'm eventually going to choose a good suspension I just needed a stop gap so the thing didn't get any worse. I have no intention in changing the wheels as I like them very much and the black color is great at hiding brake dust. Right now it's on race springs I might just go for sport springs as I use it as a daily commuter. I was gonna put in 205 50 but they put in 45 but it all looks the same and I won't have rubbing issues now. the last external mod ill do is replace the mirrors with stock black e30 mirrors, euro smileys and put on unpainted mouldings. Eventually I want to get it resprayed the same color.... The one day paint makes me sick...

Thanks for all the advice guys.

205/50 and 205/45 don't look the same. ;) Neither one should rub either.

A buddy is running 225/45 on the same wheels with H&R Race and 0 rubbing.

Ok so not exactly:). It does make the car look less aggressive which is okay by me. The car is still a hoot to drive. I wake up in the morning looking forward to driving seven miles to work. At the end of the day I look forward to driving home.

I'd really like to see other e30s... I know there are tons as I see others everyday.

Yeah that trim needs to get painted and the spoiler. It always bugs me when I see an e30 with them paint. You can tell from a mile away it was re-painted..

Hahah hey man it wasn't me! The other guy did it

I always remove trim if I repaint a car.

the Mtech wing is also painted over but it's too expensive to buy a new one.

Everything black will be brought back to black..

                      Very very nice.

Is this your first e30 by chance? Because if so, you must be the happiest guy in Carson.

Yes first one I owned second I drove.

the first one was s50 and mine was s52... So I never had a chance to try a m25 or m30 though I'd like to compare them.

I've decided that I'm going to remove the door mouldings and paint them plastidip black next weekend.
Thoughts? I recently traded for some stock e30 mirrors that are plastidipped and they look pretty good.

I've been driving around town and I have yet to see another E30 with the same BMP designs body kit I have. Rare?

You won't see any, most likely. This kit fell off the grid quite some time ago.
