Laguna Seca is pretty far from SoCal. Buttonwillow is a lot closer. You go there?

And I'm not sure if Art will race you on track in his car, but I sure will. Then you can take on the Evo to see how an E30 stacks up against an AWD supercar. :D
RIP: Delphin '89 E30 with S50 swap and lots of goodies :'(

    Then: '04 Evo 8 RS, 500 whp/420 wtq 2900 lb E85 AWD turbo shits 'n giggles

The first thing I need to do is get some track driving lessons!

^^Autocross for a year or two first if you haven't IMO. A 5hr drive for a track event is a nice drive :-D Was thinking Carson was closer for some reason though...all confused I guess. AP1 is right, Streets and Buttonwillow are both closer for now, as is AutoClub Speedway. The Porsche club near me (PCASB.org) generally throws 4 AutoXs a year in Camarillo which are only an hour for you. I drive 2.5 hours for that, and lately staying at a friends place that I used to race with only 20min from the Airport they use. 12 runs a day with them so you know.

If you do a track event, go ahead and do the beginner run group a couple events. Sure it's slow, but there is enough to learn about safety and etiquette that you will be overwhelmed a little possibly. Also, it's easy enough to get an "instructor" without paying extra for it. Do it before you repaint the car, and bring some Mothers R3 Racing Rubber Remover or something similar to remove the black rubber that marks up your paint.

Since the outside is kinda plain i've decieded that a few blue flaming stickers will spruce it up. Where can I find those chrome fender covers?

i'm going to cover them with some nice Zebra print seat covers.

I kinda feel uncool because my car is only one color, Alot of cool fast cars are usually two or three, Nothing that a can of Rustoleum can't fix
          wtf
can we get a group buy on a mafia hit?

Maybe we should get a group buy on sending you to school for reading comprehension; did they not teach you about sarcasm and satire in English class?

So I was driving down the street jamming to The Beibs and I saw something that blew my mind. Some guy in a EK had a neon purple license plate frame and some cool purple lights under his car. We ended up at the same gas station. It turns out that he has something called "street glow" He told me that it's great for safety at night because it gives his car good visibility at night. I thought for a moment and agreed that was a great idea.. I mean not only do you get to be the envy of every other man's attention but women will literally throw their panties at you!

I went to my local Pep Boys and picked them up and installed them right away..

                Here are the results..

                What do you guys think?

I think the next step is to get some really blue HID lights.. and get some purple interior lights.

                On a serious note.

Here's a question.. now before I ask this please know that I will NOT be doing this but...

My car is a 325IS but has an S52 OBD-1 Motor from a 99M3 coupe. Would it be legit to put the cheesy little ///M badge on the grill? What do you guys think?

^^I say keep as much sleeper status as you can. Or get a "Powered by BMW Motorsport ///M" sticker. I bought 6 or so I think...just #becausestickerwhore. I rarely stick stickers to sticky things.

I have one (sticker), but I still think it's a little cheesy because the US S50/S52 isn't the "real" m3 engine.

BTW...pink, pink underglow. Blue is too played out now. Besides, pink will go with your red car better. Hang a pokemon doll from your rear tow hook too.

Well since the us m3 all use the fake engines then none of the e36 m engines deserve the badge.
I was going to buy plastic testicles for my trailer hitch because my car has balls.

Yesterday i refreshed my rear tints with lighter ones and removed tint to the front windows. I can see at night now:)

I'd agree, the US E36s don't deserve the badge.

Even better would be a half of a sack on our tow hook, because our cars are not fully one car or another ;-)

                          Thank you!

Okay, So I changed the rear seats for the third time in three months.

                          first was tan M3 rears
second was dirty beat down houndstooth
                          now...

I like this more since it looks newer and is in better shape. Matches my rear houndstooth cards condition wise. What do you guys think?

why don't you just piece together the same material for the whole interior..
everything would be much more cohesive that way.
at least that's how I would want it.

                              Well here's what I think.

We have the E30 look, reliability of the E36 powertrain and better power to weight than an E46 M3! It's the like the best of all worlds! Minus the fact that we are driving around in a tin can can be totalled by a Costco grocery cart.

At least yours has a real 5mph bumper. Right now I have the sturdiness of fiberglass protecting me!
