    Trlm paint...what's the diff

trim paint is ... black paint?

I kinda like the texture of plastidip actually. The mirrors I traded were covered in plastidip.

      Plastidip sucks. Use trim paint.

Just saw this! Art is a great guy!

I am happy you are happy with the car!
        1. As a reminder, I told you that I thought the front wheel bearing was bad - I had no idea it was actually the strut.
        2. Interesting about the brake thing - I had been DD'ing the car for a year and half with zero indication that there was something wrong with the caliper or rotors. The ABS on the other hand was not functioning and was inspected at the shop (you have the receipt for that) and nothing was mentioned about the rotor. I think your guy made a mistake ;)
        3. The car wasn't sold "on the cheap" to due to problems. That's just wrong. It was sold on the cheap due to me being impulsive and dumb.

Like Matt said, the Slips are great for these cars and are light, too! 16lbs.

Matt, you were there the first time I took my car to TNG and when I dropped off the S52 Drive train. Good times, amigo.

Mark i absolutely love the car. More torque fixed the loose disc. The car is an incredble drive.

Art, this may sound corny, but I'll say it anyway: I knew you were the right guy for this car. I know it wont end up wrapped around a telephone pole or neglected in terms of maintenance and respect. Enjoy it in good health, bro.

they both are black, but plastidip is almost temporary paint - it doesn't hold up well and can be peeled off very easily.

Noted. Hopefully they sell it at Home Depot. I wanted plastidip to cover imperfections in the red paint on my trim.

sanding will also aid in that. ;)

Plowed into three feet of water and fried one of my cracked sealed beams :(. time to upgrade I guess. Darn old model wiring!

You can make adapters for ellipsoids in about 5 minutes. Just buy a set of headlights that includes pig tails.
