I even have a rabbit.. How do I make him sit in the engine bay like that?

The best part about the car is that the previous owner is more than helpful with all my nagging and questions.

This car will b perfect once I get the ac working and it repainted.

Rotas aren't "wack" and there's nothing wrong with them.

Don't believe the internet rumors, friend has been running a set identical to yours for years with no issues.

They're direct fit, 8" wide, and offer tons of BBK clearance... Doesn't get much better than that!

I have no problem with them really. I don't mind knock offs as long as they are decent quality. I just dont like it when it says bbs but it's a replica.

        Faking the funk is wrong.

In that sense I'll never put m3 on my car because it's a 325is.

Even if I changed every single part to an m product the title will still say 325.

With that note I just want a different color or just get the little rash taken out.

thanks for the input, a lot of helpful advice to a newbie.

Glad to see this, that was my only "dislike" about the car. Excellent purchase, congratulations bro. My dad said the same thing about my S50 E30 "It feels like a go-cart" hahaha.

The more I drive this car the more everything else seems sloppy and lethargic!

So I brought her to a mechanic and we have the following problems.

The front passenger strut is no good. It's completly trashed. When you push down on the front end it clanks badly.

The company I brought it to is going to charge me $500 dollars to replace both front struts including parts and labor.

The UUC front rotor is loose. they said the holes are elongated. Basically I can take my hand and rotate the rotor about a half an inch in both directions. They told me it wasn't safe to drive this way.

I should have done a PPI. The seller is not to blame as it is my duty as a buyer to be sure I am buying something that is both safe and reliable.

I was so enthralled by the power and handling of he car that I should have inspected everything closer.

At this point i'm not sure if I want to get these items fixed ( I still need a whole ac) or sell the car and cut my losses.

                What do you guys think?

right now i'm still waiting for the DMV paperwork to be sent to me as I just registered it. I'm hoping I won't run into more problems.

you're buying a swapped car and didn't expect ANY problems?
I'm sure there was a reason for it being sold on the cheap, you get what you pay for.
                  sorry, but it's true.

No need to be sorry, your statement is absolutely true.

Perhaps a few more hundred dollars in repairs i'll be happy with it.

I had a "e30" expert check it for me a day or two before I bought it so I trusted his decision.

It's easy to overlook the faults when your driving something very fun.

I'm honestly not used to having to fix so much stuff so soon!

I was hoping I was going to have to fix things on it down the line, not immediately!

Do you guys think that the $500 bucks is too much to fix the struts?

What shop did you take it to?

For $500 what struts are they going to be installing?

Can you go in to more detail on the problem with the UUC rotor? I'd take this up with UUC.

I don't know they will see what brand they are and out the same kind in. Maybe they are oe.

I can move the brake rotor to the left and right about a quarter inch. They are a two piece rotor.. Maybe the rotor hat isn't secure to the rotor itself. I'm hoping that's the case. It's possible it just wasn't torqued to specs.

I really love this car. I'm gonna pay the piper if I have to since the car is just so fun to drive.

Well I have some good news.

They did the struts on the front for MUCH less than they originally quoted (they also tend do that).

Also, It looks like they fixed the front brake (I can no longer move it)

When I arrived the mechanic that worked on it went home for the day so I am not sure what he did to fix it.

The car is much smoother now, I am guessing the other strut was on it's way out as well.

either way I'm happy with these turn of events.

But what struts did they put in? This is important. If they put some crap stock replacements in there you'll be back in a month.

I put in kyb.. Much less expensive and this is a daily driven car that will probably not see a racetrack.

I just use the car for work and back. I bought a swapped one instead of the stock engine one because I like a little power around town.
