Car is lookin' fantastic. A few questions though, did you do a single stage paint job on the car or did you go base/clear? Also can you explain to me how the #19 injectors are better or the reason for them? I am new at the e30 and any information is useful.

It's a base clear paint job! And the #19 injectors seemed to have woken the motor up, and given it a little more response and some noticeable power. But also the chip is extremely helpful.

Did the injector ticking get louder with the #19s?

No I have no ticking sound that sticks out for my exhaust tone/leak

I used some candy-red paint they made for me at the auto paint store. It is translucent and took about 3 coats to make it look right. I then covered that with a 2k clear. It was all done in an aerosol can. Super easy.

The red translucent paint was 17.50 for the can. 2k clear was pretty close to 20 for the can.

I did use some prep-all and then a light coat if adhesion promoter I had. I paint a lot of stuff so I had most of this laying around. It really is simple though and makes a big visual difference.

If you go to an auto paint store I know they will set you right if they know anything.
