it's a work in progress. I am still torn on the 16's vs 17's issue (and totally heartbroken that they no longer make BBS for E30's. I had been totally in lust with the RC's & Rx's *sniff*)

I have owned RX's and they arent what they are cracked up to be, although they look the tits. I am having some extreme flashbacks about your rims.

RC's in 4 lug for E30s (according to Tirerack 1 1/2 year ago) have been out of production. I know, thats what I wanted before I luckily found the RS's.

thanks for the comments boys. I am still hunting for a set of decent rims to replace those god awful things, I know the car was made in the 80's, but there is no reason to be stuck in a time warp! I don't know if I should go with something busy like similar to basketweaves, or if I should go simple... Any thoughts/advice/constructive criticism? Will be good to have a car worthy of posting better pics!

Hmmm, perhaps a simple, guaranteed winner like Ronal LS's? Those look hot and are only 15". I think those, and euro 15"ers are the only 15's good enough to spend money on as your "best shoes on" rims. Of course RS's but thats a given and its pretty conservative point of view, admittedly. I admit Im pretty conservative when it comes to E30 styling and the commonly suggested rims

Those ghetto retro revival horrors are 15's, I wanted bigger. More rim, less rubber. But then there is also the issues of guard rolling/performance etc.

What is the % tint on the car with the alpina's and the car with the weaves? It looks great, very light not too dark.

We are in Australia - the darker the better! Legal is 35% so I would take a stab & say that the ladies went with legal tint!
