The noise is 99% of the reason to run track pads. I'd still run HP+ for a dd car over the ht10, having run both on the same car and same tires. HP+ have drastically better cold and panic braking and not much difference when warm. When HOT tho, the HP+ wilt and the ht10s STOP the car....though that really is only an issue with repeated high speed track braking abuse IME. For a primarily track car that gets driven to events I think HT10 (reay any race pad) is a perfect all around pad, but for primarily street use its (their) compromises get old fast.

    Stoked to try the dtc-70.

Brofist. Nothing like instant bite and full ABS threshold from 120+.

So far they are actually DDable pads if you can manage to keep them cold and don't mind cleaning brake dust. If you heat them up at all they start squealing like a bitch.

I will probably keep HT10s on the car as long as I am tracking it, or until I get really sick of having black wheels and ghetto sounding brakes. As it is it's still hilarious watching people wince in confusion as the shiny new BMW pulls up to a stop sign and belts a wail of ear-piercing squeals as it slows.

    HT10s ftw

    On car

After a little break, time to flush and bleed, baby.

Super blue and pressure bleeder FTMFW, thanks kronus

    Doneski

Front HT10s borrowed from the good man of bimmers, bimmerman325i. Did you know the 330i, E36 M3 and E46 M3 all share the same front pad shape? Now you know.

Car is now ready for Laguna Seca this Wednesday. Had fun bedding in the pads, much to my victim's.... I mean passengers' dismay last night. Don't mind the diff fluid.

Unfortunately no. 2.93, 3.07 and 3.46 did but 3.15 was never in any E46. I'm in SM. I would have gotten a 3.07 had I had a choice but this one popped up used for a great price.

You guys are going to El Toro next week, right? I'm super jelly, Pro Solo looks awesome.
