Setting aside that it's not actually a hot rod from the 30's to 50's, it is the epitome of what a rat rod should be.

Edit: but let's not derail this thread even further. It's already chock full of not-slammed e30s, we don't need to bring in a completely unrelated discussion about this stuff.

I'm sure its because people see the car as form over function when rat rods are traditionally seen as the reverse.

But then again even a bagged e28 probably has more "function" then some of the rat rods i've seen. I'd go on but i really dont want to muck up the thread.

No i agree with you. I've been around rat rods a lot growing up in socal, my grandpa was a bit of an OG of street and rat rods :p I just want to see more dumped e30 goodness
