Looking at your former Alpine white e30 below, i'd say that your taste in E30s was pretty good. It fitted the mold, assuming that you restored/modded it on your own. Considering that you haz a fat wallet, you should have kept the E30 on the side, as a weekend toy. I am surprised to hear that you got tired of E30s.
I'd take an E46 M3 any day but i would never detach myself from my E30 and it always will be my favorite Deutsch Auto!

The e46 M3 is still the car that really got my BMW itch going besides my dad's old 7 series. I would love to own one one day, but after driving one and then getting my e30 the e30 has me hooked for life. My dad has a ZCP I can drive any time I want, and my m42 vert is more fun. Sure the M3 is amazingly fast, brakes like no other, SMG is awesome, and it handles amazingly...but like everyone says, being able to have more control (this could be due to me being much more familiar with the e30) and use every single one of my 136hp is so much fun.

E30s lost there value the second they left the lot along with litteraly every other car in the history of cars. Thats a terrible argument. Im 100% certain that if i got into an e46 i would love the car. Its faster roomier more comfortable and looks great. Just because most e30 owners(not all) are broke dicks; not unlike any other makes older models following, doesnt mean that somebody getting into a newer nicer car somehow isnt an enthusist or is a "visa modder". I know its hard to see out of poorlanda sometimes but at least pull your heads out of your asses long enough to realize People who have an oppertunity to better there situation will do so.

That being said i sold my e30 when i bought a neerw car and later bought anouther e30 because they are fun. Let the guy have his cake maybe eventually he'll come back to eat it too. If not it just wasnt for him.

I've got a supercharged e46 with something like 400hp and I still prefer my e30 with the original m20 engine.

ignore my plate, i///m not a broke dick...... lol e30 "///m" slow? u just didnt drive it fast enough around a corner thats all.... toss a e46 around a corner.... it will turn but wont be as enjoyable as a e30"///m" around a corner especially around tight turn, gota love the weight transition.
