I am in love with this car. So beautiful. Manual tranny is just like damn.

Thanks guys :)
It doesn't look bad but I think 17s are the best. Understated but something a bit nice is what I prefer. Some kind of drop is definitely coming :)
"Worth" is a relative thing. I think it would actually be awesome to have some revs to go along with all that torque. Can I say it's worth the time and effort and $$$ and would significantly add to the resale value? No. Without getting too far in to the execution of the swap I just think it would be cool.Comment

Because the title of the thread says M7 so for that to happen it either needs an s38 or s62 swap or a nice turbo m30 build for it to be an "M7" . Till then its just a really cool 7 series and there is nothing wrong with that. :DComment

Hey Halston I know where you can get a really good deal on an S38. Best part is the guy probably won't even know it's missing.-AlexComment

Thanks guys :)
No offense meant but going from 50-55 series sidewalls to 30-35 series sidewalls on 19" wheels does not ride better. Less sidewall on the same suspension setup will not ride better.

It would be worth it for sure. Awesome really. Just not interested in that.
No offence taken, I was very concerned before puchasing 19's that they'd ruin the ride. I'm picky when it comes to ride comfort in the 7 and pretty much every mechanical component on my car has been replaced in the last few years to ensure it's as good as it can be. I am still suprised that it rides so well on the 19's and I can say it does ride smoother now than it did on the 16's (regardless of what 'should' happen). To give you a little mroe insight, I removed the Bistein B8's from the front of the car due to the harshness that created on sharp initial bump and replaced with some Sachs inserts, I have changed front spring rates a couple of times and even tried a custom set of eurothane strut tops to try and get teh ride to a point I was happy with.
On a side note, I would have loved to put a nice set of BBS 17's on it, but can't justify the massive cost it would have been to get a set over to Aust, refurbed and fitted. My Garage :- www.cardomain.com/id/bmwturboComment

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.Comment

Those tires look pretty narrow for 245s. My 235/40s are wider then those. Looking good though.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Nice. What suspension is it on?
There are better choices but for 550 off local Craigslist I am not going to turn down. Not in the condition they are in.Comment
