Look MAH! I dun shit out my oil!

After a long, wet, slushy day at the garage, I finally threw some wheels and suspension on the euro chassis and got it the fuck out of my garage. I then proceeded to pull in the 90 calypso 4 door, and found myself laughing and crying all at the same time. See for yourself below.

Anyways, there's a few pics of the euro for nostalgia, it's now in the barn out of the way but out of the elements, and a pic of the old eta motor out of the euro - it's been sitting in that same spot for at least a year now, and I've finally gotten the head off. Slowly but surely, it will go away ;)

Here's some pics - the two in the photo are my buddies helping me get things running right up there.

Hmm. I guess that makes draining the oil easier. Good time for a new oil-pump.

Things are getting more roomy - the bike isn't normally parked there, but it stays inside to keep it safe.

Forget a new oil pump, or even a new pan - time for a new engine, this one's seized. A shame, as the car is in amazing shape. Interior is unripped and very clean leather (tan), the calypso paint is in great shape, and it has a zender front and rear apron (front has a few cracks), and racing dynamics sideskirts.

It's also only got 119k on it, which makes it even more upsetting to pull the motor knowing it had so much life left.

It's an auto, and it's being tentatively sold to a co-worker who's dying for a bmw, but isn't too hot and driving stick.

What's the difference between us and euro late model tails? I've got an extra couple pairs of late model tails, but they're US...

Mark, I can't believe that picture in your sig - got any more?
(For those of you wondering, Mark's sig (wastedincome) is the last hurrah of the 88 super eta before we shoved it in the garage to keep it dry - I promised my buddies that they could do a burnout until the tire popped if they'd help out with the parts biz, that's mid burnout ;)

Ha - I was just afraid that from the picture he might have stepped out of the car and let it run over him . . .

i think the metal ring around the rear fogs must conduct electricity, because my rear fogs dont work with u.s. model tails in there
