Personally I would liken it more to a Toyota DX Corolla. With the rear lights out of it and no rear glass it is almost a splitting image apart from the lack of vents on the 'C' pillar.

I'll take a couple of pics of the interior later in the week.
Basically I have Mitsy EVO3 Recaro's, Black velor headlining, black door cards, dark Carpet, Sabelt suade wheel. Eclispe MP3 head unit, JBL splits front, Cheap 6" rears. TINTS. Waiting for sills, rear lip. Front lip is standard BMW fitment for '84 E30. Left it black as scrapes would leave shite looking lack of white paint.

Body is stock. Make for a clean look rather than a riced up boy racer pile of s*&t. Rear spoiler was the first to go in the bin. Virgin boot lid (no holes) was sourced with possable future fitment of a spoiler.

Your stock (basically) car looks better than half of those on this board.

The US was shafted. The germans retaliating after WWII...

Diving board e30's, US spec e30 M3, an e36 "M3" and the list goes on.

I think it's because they are silver and not chrome. If they were chrome like every other wheel in that style, they would be a lot worse. The silver tones them down a bit.

that old euro look is fucking sick. yeah the rims are whatevers..but whoa...even though everthing looks stock...it looks bad ass to me. lol, and i kinda like how it has that classic datsun 510 look. some new shoes witha nice fat lip would complete that car.

Josh you are to nice. Come on, admit it, the wheels are hideous.

I like the painted sills and I think there are worse wheels to stick on E30s.

I just wish that the fucking Krauts hadn't made it a fucking 4x100 ET20 so I could run decent wheels instead of those pathetic, ugly basketweaves.

                    Basketweaves SUCK.

Did you detexture the bottom that you painted white, or not?

                      None the less, looks nice.

It still has the texture on it. I ran out of motivation to detexture it before painting. The texture on the new front guard is different than the rest of the car and looks funny. Also there is a smooth spot on the left sill that looks manky. I am going to remove the texture and redo the whole lot. Just to make it match all around the car. Shouldn't take more than a day to do. I would rather have the texture as the impact resistance of it stops stone chips.

I'm not a fan of the painted rockers, and I honestly can't decide about the wheels.

I guess that's why they say 'To each, his own.'

Their specs were very simliar. The U.S. spec ///M3 was pretty identical to the non-Evo Euro, sub-215hp version. 15" rims, all that jazz. Ours were "catalyzed", but then again all the Evos were as well. We just didnt get any of the special editions. I dont understand this comment. I believe there are cars far more worthy of mention in the "getting-shafted" dept. :)
