    Garagistic E30 project car (m60, ls1 or m30 swap)

    Hello,

We just wanted to document our newest project car at the shop. Car is an 88 325is. Autotragic (for now). We have the mounts to either go m60, ls1 or m30 (the ls1 and m30 are a little favored because we need to put those motor mounts to the test before we offer them for sale). We hope to mate any of these engines with 6 speed transmissions. Anyway, here are pictures for now. M20 and auto transmission will be pulled for sale soon.

Voted M30, didn't expect it to be winning at all. I expected the ls1 to be leading, but a turbo'd m30 is much more awesome. Would you consider FI for this car, or only NA?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

That's what I was going to say. I always thought a N20 would be cool too. Really light, turbo 4 with reasonable numbers, so the car can be a daily driver.

That being said, S65 all the way.

Twin charged m30 or compound turbo m30. Do it

I'm confused. I see late model tails on an early model!? Or did the diving boards still come on some of the late models for like a year? Or did someone swap metal bumpers onto a late model? Haha.
