My M3s not so cool new ride height.

Finally got to drive the car after getting it legally on the street.
thought I would share some pics of how much an few inches can make or break a cars looks.

also a shot of the new mancave with my daughters e21 now in it.

    no more DTM tips.

to be honest i think your car looks amazing even at that height, i think m3's shouldn't be slammed even if it looks cool. But i'm a bit old school and prefer clean but functional i guess.

Honestly if you didn't mention the ride height I wouldn't even have noticed it. The car looks amazing!

What colour orange is it? Is it Inka or something else?

Edit: Just noticed you're German! Off topic PM sent!

What's un-cool about that? It think it's perfect. I for one think that suspension should be set up for driving, not for looking at it.

the tires just look too stretched, odd to me now. the front is o.k., the rear is what really bothers me.

          a few more pics.

Did you have to put it back up for TUV?

^sure did, I could lower it again, seeing as the next TÜV visit will be in 2 years, just don't want the car quite as low as it was, but lower than now. BTW, the car isn't on coilovers, so it isn't that easy to just adjust the height.

IMO it looks great. Any lower and I think it would look to bling bling for an M3. Leave that for the kids with rusted etas on no name coilovers and ESMs. Oh and VWs.

I think it looks great at that height. To me a cars height isn't as important as wheel to fender gap and tire fitment. I personally like to not be extremely low and then fill the wheel gap up with a meaty tire.

Thats what I am trying to do with mine. I think its almost there. I would like the front to be about 5mm lower and the rear about 10mm higher

its been awhile!! Looks so nice man!
I see what you see though. Stretch tires just don't fit when there's wheel gap.

What exact color is your car? Henna or ?

Car is beautiful by the way and just noticed the M logo in the grille needs to be raised up one. :)
