    That's Unnecessary

Got some fancy shocks this past week...

MCS 2-way adjustable shocks w/ remote canisters. I got them on earlier this week... now I am having to pull my subframe because my bushings are toast.

I just wanted to tease you all while I go finish putting my car together... and while I'm in there I'll take some more pics for you guys.

n00b question: How does it compare to AST and Motons?

Heheh you might want to ask someone else that... I may be a little biased :p

(But based off of customer feedback I would say these are better than AST or Moton)

                            Sure!

Spring rates are either 450-500F (Can't remember wheat I installed on the car) and 275R. True coilover setup in the rear using a double-shear bracket to mount the top eye... the bracket is about 1/4" thick so before anyone tells me to reinforce the rear... it's good. To be safe though a friend of mine might be building a bar that will tie into my diff.

Here is the dyno plot of the front shocks... a little off on the compression side, but I don't plan on running 15 clicks of compression anyway so it's cool! lol

Here is the MCS front vs JOM front. LOL.

                            Fronts in:

So here's what caused me to pull the rear out in such haste:

Cleaning the diff before it got resealed

My variation of an RTAB press. I realize I forgot to take pics of the RTABs.. but they are AKG.

Revshift 12mm riser bushings. Nice and frozen.

Diff spacers (had to use grade 8 washers on one bolt because I lost the spacer :drink:

                            Everything back in!

I'm really bummed because I was registered to do a Porsche Club HPDE this past weekend at a track that recently opened up here. But Murphys Law took full effect (who am I kidding, I make Murphy look like an optimist, but that is neither here nor there...) while I was doing these bushings. So no track pictures for you guys yet :(
