Can anybody definitively explain why BRONZIT E30s tend to become suicidal at this age? I thought it was sort of a joke, but man, there have been too many for me to think otherwise. I really don't get it. :(

This is 100% me. I drive 10mph under the speed limit in the right lane when its raining or wet out. I honestly am scared of ever wrecking my car because I don't have the money to replace it. It keeps me driving safe on the street.

No, that's what happens when an inexperienced driver or flat out dumbass gets behind the wheel of an E30.

I like how whenever someone r3v's their car, they blame it on the fact that E30s suck when it's wet out

I think my car handles better than most in the rain, I just don't want to find any of it's limits. Rain is dangerous, and if it takes me 10 more minutes to get where I am going, better than losing control of my car.

Exactly. As long as your tires aren't completely bald and you're careful, there's no reason to fear driving on wet roads.

Everytime there's a drastic change in the weather here and the roads suddenly get very wet or covered in snow, you can see an immediate change in most peoples' driving habits. While I still get mad at people for driving obnoxiously slow just because it's a little wet out, better that than having them completely lose control of their car and risk hitting me.

It almost never rains here but there is a shitload of sand/rocks/oil/unknown debris in the road. I learned the first week I was here to stay off throttle/brake when turning as there is a high likelyhood something to slip in in the road (I turned a corner & ended up almost going up the curb)

Slow down you'll live longer & so will your car.

I do actually, because I learned something from it. I did something stupid and hurt myself and another driver, and ruined something that I really cared about, and put a ton of work into. I'll always miss that car, but now it serves as a reminder and a lesson learned the hard way. Every now and then, I look through the pics and remind myself what I lost by being careless.

People forget how to drive in Atlanta when it rains. That's a scary thing if you've ever driven in or around the connector, 400, 285, etc.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

say your last words with it, as it will r3v it soon enough...

as far as driving safe in the rain, i think the best part about these cars is the ability to swing out the rear end intentionally...i pretty much do it on every single turn at nite where theres no parked cars...but thats just me.
