So I never really made a thread about my car, just threw random pictures here and there on other off-topic/general threads and such time to time.
Any ways, I'm going to try and give my e30 story with pictures instead of writing a novel.
So, I started with an '89 325is around 2008, I was 17 or 18 at the time.
Boy do I miss it, you'll see what I mean as you scroll.

Did maint. stuff and fixed little things that bothered me.

By this time I ventured onto the foot work. Got the wheels I wanted and did the work to make them fit. GC kit with IE plates and Bilstein goodness. Meep meep.

Good ole irresponsible fun.

I was a happy boy.
I later on met Chris Castro before CastroMotorsport was born from and we did stuff.
Stuff inlcuded a MAF conversion, exhausts system, SSK, sectioned housings, M3 links, bunch of stuff that I recall at the moment, and some troubleshooting because it's an e30 afterall. Can't thank him enough for the guidence and help throughout the years. A real friend.
Shortly after the stuff, an old man decided to turn a good day into a bad one.

WHAT THE FUCK MAN.

:(
That's me being sadface.

Bent control arm, bent trailing arm, bent strut, bent rear shock, dash pushed in a little, and the body damage obviously.
Police came. Police didn't write a police report. I was noob at the time and basically it came down to old man's insurance saying "We don't have enough proof to have him at fault.
I was furious and confused on what to do.
Later on, Castro did me the great favor of keeping the wrecked car at his place (his place, not shop) until I figured out what to do.
Forevergreatful.jpg
Time passed and it was getting no where. I never got reinbursment from insurance till this day, so I had to start strippin' and partin', again with the help of loveable Castro.

I made a little money selling the goodies off the car and had the shell sent to the yard :|
A few items I kept including the engine.
At this point I didn't know what to do. Being 18 at the time, family influenced my next decision and they didn't want me getting another e30 to pour my time into especially during the first year of college.
So a few months passed by and of course I didn't listen.
I found this. '91 325iS.
Factory IS sideskirts, 4.10lsd, sport seats, premium speaks, baskets, and whatever stylish stuff 80's drug dealers put in their cars or whatever.
A thank you to Terry (QUKBMER) for hooking it up!

Knowing everyone will get mad, I non-oped it, parked it at my friend's bus lot 30 miles away, and just did school for a while. Things were going good and I landed a decent job while in school.
So considering that, I did what any sensible person would do and called Castro up to tell him I wanted to boost the engine from my old car to put into my new found glory. I started collecting parts while Castro did some witchcraft with my old engine. Some of the black magic includes new bottom end components, o-ringed, along with piston rings and ARP hardwhere everywhere. I wanted a good stout block and build the head later because I didn't have the funds to do it at the time.

Shout out to bimma360 and his gauge pod http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...uner+gauge+pod

So more stuff happened. Shoutout to Castro.

Castro converted the 2-bolt WG provisional to a v-band 8)

Feed line for the turbo and fittings for the aftermarket oilcooler.

-10 AN frain line.
Oh yeah, look to the left, we also did AKG front subrame reinforcements.

Oh yeah. We kept the A/C

Some bov action

So yeah, things were taking shape.

Fastforward a lot (too many details to list, ask!) and we had the finished product!

So I brought it home!

Of course I had some explaining to do, but lol we'll skip that.
Following the next few days, I was done with the current semester of school and decided to do more sensible things and take the car to lake Arrowhead (high altitude) and then Vegas straight after. Hahah.
I don't really have much pictures of this though.
So here's my sister and brother being goofy at Arrowhead.

Oh and one of my pops!

The trip went swell! No troubles from the car.
I was having fun, especially going at it on the long highways to Vegas against my dad's S-Class Merc.

Fast forward some more, things were going cool. Did some more tuning with Dan Milelr himself and broke stuff like 2 wastegates, my pan, blow off valve, because turbo car obviously.
It's okay. It was all my fault really. I didn't secure the BOV properly after cleaning it one day and it blew off (lol @ pun) my charge pipe on the freeway, so hurray vacuuuuuuum leak.
The wastegate I purchased, a repuatble eBay vendor, ended up rupturing it's diaphragm. I thought it was a fluke and bought another same one considering I had 2 friends running them with success. Lol it blew again; lesson learned. I bought a 44mm TiAL afterwards..
My pan detonating on bad roads doesn't need an explination.

Two blown wastegates. Great paper weights though.

When I lost my BOV on the freeway lol.

Anddd When I busted my pan. Okay. I didn't REALLY bust it, just a hair-line crack.
I'd like to touch base with some of you on this though considering I have a skid plate.
A skid plate is not a license to go bashing into shit. Mine held up for a year and a half of hitting things occasionally when I wasn't careful. I still drove my car in the fashion of pretending not to have a skidplate.

Yay. Castro was able to weld it, which means no new pan, no new drain bung for the turbo.
And Lol the god damn reason I cracked it to begin with

I raised it since learning my lesson.
More tuning to extract more power to make more smiles to get more tickets.

At this point, I made some changes here and there including interior, wheels, tires, exhaust, shift lever, and nice tailights from Castro.
Too much to mention, but here are some more dandy unorganized pictures to explain.

Oh yeah I even made it out to a drift day with Shift Sector. I did okay.
I mostly drove Castro's e30m3 instead of mine.

I'm a little scatterbrained at this point, but yeah that is the guts of my adventure.
The car is going to have it's head replaced soon since I didn't do it way back then. Maybe go standalone.
Nothing really much to update. except we went out and bought my little brother an e30 of his own which I'll have a thread about later. I'm really excited for him.

I'd like to thank Chris Castro again for being a darn good friend and helping me make things happen.
Thanks for looking.
