91 vert. alpine. red top. ac schnitzer type 2's.

just quick & dirty cell phone pics i took last night. if you click the link on the bottom of the post you can see how clean my paint can get with a bit of claybar. It's in dire need of that and a good photo shoot! Manual Transmission, Euro Smileys, Plastic Bumpers, and Euro Grills are all in the very near future.

I purchased my first e30 a little less than a year ago. Since then I have gone through quite a bit of change. 3 sets of wheels, wood grain nardi, mtech 1 wheel, CSL style carbon fiber trunk and more.

Here is the car in its current state.

17x7.5 AC Schnitzer Type 2's et 48 . 20 mm spacers. 215/45/17 Bridgestone Potenzas. The wheels came off of a mini cooper. I had to get the centerbore machined 1mm for them to fit.
    Mtech 1 wheel
    H&R Cup Kit
    e30 Offset CAB
Ceramic Brake Pads . Stoptech cross drilled rotors. Stainless steel brake lines.

ps - have some 50mm lug bolts for sale (perfect for 25mm spacers) some bottlecaps and the csl style carbon fiber trunk!

random shot before i put on my wheels driving through a local canyon by my parents house.

how it looked with my previous set up for reference. this is still a work in progress. going to need something to make it look right. Open to opinions..what would really complement these wheels?

Thinking it looks like it's on Donks. Mainly because you are on stock suspension.

Edit: Just noticed you said that's a cup suspension. Just think 17's are big for standard E30.

Probably more to do with it being a diving board vert. They'd look better with a body kit or facelifted model. I like the look of them. You don't see 17" 1pc ACS rims on E30's often.

For some reason it really does look like a donk. More low and 40 series tires will help. I have 17s on my car and they still look big, but more lows and shorter tires help a lot.

Ditch the CSL trunk lid IMO. Looks cool on an e46, looks weird on an e30
